Dropbox
One tool that I find helpful is Dropbox. With this tool I can easily share group homework/project assignments with my classmates and friends. I can even share pictures with the family. The "Dropbox" tool works by moving files between computers, as well as keeping files in the ICloud. It also can be used on your mobile device. It helps me interact with other students and teachers. I use it especially for Ms. Hunters class when I'm in group projects such as the PSA project. It helps me immensely because information can be passed rapidly and effectively.

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." ~Mahatma Gandhi
Everytime I come across a homeless person, I feel the need to help. Not those who got themselves there(drugs etc.) but those who ended up there accidentally (financial need etc.). I guess that's why architecture has always inspired me. Maybe if I knew what it takes to build a house, I could help. Ultimately, that is the goal to help those who can't help themselves.

Discussion Questions
Discussion Questions:
Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?
I subscribed to these sites, because they are sites I use everyday.
Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?
It was not the hardest thing to do, but not all of the sites have the option of RSS or they are not visible.
Which sites were your favorites?
My personal are definitely my favorite such as RISD, JUSTLUXE, and ALLURE.
What else can you use RSS feeds for?
It is an easy and effective way to stay connected all in one place.
How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?
:) Hahaha! Probably not going to happen.

Steer Clear of iOS 8's Infinite Loop
A flaw in iOS 8 allows hacker to crass apps that perform SSL communications.Skycure reported the bug at the RSA security conference held last week, advising owners of iOS devices to upgrade to iOS 8.3.An attack would involve specially crafting an SSL certificate to regenerate a bug. SSL is used in almost all apps in the iTunes App Store, which means pretty much every device user running iOS 8 could be at risk. For more info click here.

I am a teacher...Cinco De Mayo
If I was a teacher I would teach a fashion class. The class would teach the history, designing, and the marketing aspect of fashion. The students would design their own clothing and try to sell them to the public. They would have to predict the cost of the production and see how off they were. At the end of the semester they would reinvent their lowest selling products and put them into a fashion show. This would show them what they did wrong with the certain products. The class would meet last period in the art/design room everyday just in case they needed extra time to finish their production. The class would smell like fabric and you would always hear the sound of a sowing machine. At the end of the semester they would know what it takes to be successful in the business as well as how to make their own clothing. Because the difference between style and fashion is marketing.

New Multimedia Blog

Ms.Ames teaches my geometry class. She is easy to locate and always answers her email when you need help. When I first entered her class I expected to like the content we were learning, since I loved Algebra, however that was not the case. Geometry is nothing like Algebra, although it contains Algebra. Geometry I have to say is my hardest class.
In geometry we have learned a ton. The topics range from: Pythagorean Therm, Conditional Statements, Special Right Triangles, Trigonometry, and much more. The way her class room works is that midway through the chapter she will quiz us and then at the end of the chapter we have a chapter test. She also throws in projects and assessments into each marking period. We basically have textbook homework everyday. Her grading policy is as follows:homework/classwork 10%, projects 15%, quizzes 25%, and test 50%.
Although geometry is challenging it has aspects that I enjoy. For example, the way we review our homework. This aspect is one of my favorites, because it gives me the chance to realize how I will perform on a graded assessment. In addition, I also get the needed help if I am still confused about the process or steps you need to take. The way technology is used in that class is helpful. She shows us how the lesson we are learning is applicable to real life scenarios using various applications. She also uses technology based homework such as Khan Academy and TTM.
Overall, this class is one of the best challenging classes I have taken. The only suggestion would be more on the board practice, where the student would go to the board and answer the question. However, everything else about geometry is great.

- They assure us that driverless cars are not only safe but are can be less prone to accidents.
- The cars will be able to communicate with one another to prevent accidents.
- However, the motor industry is not on the same page as the government. They don't believe to have the service or repair skills for a car with this magneto of technology.
- The car consist of two seats, with 19 sensors, cameras, and several distance sensors.
- The UK is providing 19 million euros to launch 4 driverless cars in 4 different UK locations

Copyright Law and Fair Use
Copyright Law and Fair Use are two concepts that are very easily misinterpreted and used incorrectly. The Educational Technology and Copyright Law cleared up the concept for me. For example, I learned that everything is copyrighted the moment it is tangible. However, this copyright can essentially be vetoed by fair use rules. Another, thing I learned was that a picture can be licensed and not fall under fair use terms. Overall, this article was very helpful in explaining Copyright Laws.

Welcome!
Welcome!
My name is Llariley Coplin. I participate in winter and spring track. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and going to new places. I have always wanted to travel the world. I have one sister that is 8 years younger than I am and drives me nuts. I am currently enrolled in Geometry Honors, English, Biology, World History, Spanish II, and Web 2.0. Spanish II is relatively easy because I am Hispanic, however geometry is my hardest class in comparison to the others. Although college is a while away I am considering the following schools: Rhode Island School of Design, Princeton, Cooper Union, and University of Cincinnati. However, my first choice would definitely be Rhode Island School of design. I want to double major in Architecture and Interior Design.
That is me! Welcome to my blog!
